What is Jade Masquerade?

Jade Masquerade is a horde survival roguelite, where your main objective is to slay enemies piling onto you, while juggling your weapons, set in eastern mythological setting. We were heavily inspired by Vampire Survivors and Halls of Torment in our desing, but in pursue of giving player more agency and room for skill expression- we created a unique weapon juggling mechanic.

Each weapon in Jade Masquerade contains three components, either of which is in play depending on which of three weapon slots your weapon currently is. 

• First slot will use you weapon's auto-attack component. Auto-attacks are automatic, you just need to aim it.

• Second slot will enhance your auto-attack with trinkets, embeded into it. This is our way to give player this "bullet heaven" feel, without it being over the top and ridiculously overpowered.

• Third slot will use active ability component of the weapon. Abilities serve different purposes, have cooldowns, but no cost.

You can freely juggle your weapons between slots, which may help you to get out of sticky gameplay situations.

Gameplay

Other than that and the fact that our game features a room-based combat instead of one room constant timed encounter- you can expect gameplay and mechanics, inspired by other horde survivals, such as xp drops, leveling up character stats, upgrades to your weapons etc.
